WhattaHeel! - Owen Hart... How To Use Your Bret Hart Sunglasses

Last time we discussed GREAT HEEL TACTICS, we discussed Don Muraco's masterful use of a meatball grinder to great effect. This time I'd like to turn our attention to someone whose heel strength was just as strong, the late Owen Hart.



The time was 1994. Owen was deep in his feud with his brother Bret. He had just beaten him at Wrestlemania X, shocking much of the wrestling world.

In order to dig it even further into Bret, Owen started to don Bret's trademark sunglasses:

And while Bret would always take time to give his glasses to a lucky fan, let's just say that Owen was not nearly as charitable. I'd like to take a look at two such instances today.

Here, that dastardly Owen, makes like he's about to do the same as his brother, he just takes them and rips them up in front of the now dissapointed child. Absolutely brilliant!

But that's not all. If he didn't destroy his glasses in front of crying kids, he did something else with them, this time to his opponent:
